Terms of Service

Effective November 4, 2026

VidQuire (“the service”) is run by an independent developer. By using the service you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

1. The service

VidQuire turns video links or files you submit into written notes. Notes are generated by AI models, may miss things or be wrong, and are not professional advice. For health, safety, legal or financial matters, rely on the original video and trusted sources.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13, or the age at which you can consent to online services where you live.

3. Your account

Use a valid email and keep your password safe. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you think it has been compromised.

4. Your content

You must have the right to process the videos you submit and follow the rules of the sites they come from. We process your content only to provide the service.

You may use and edit the notes made for you. Videos belong to their creators; credit them when you share or quote.

5. What you may not do

We may limit or suspend accounts that break these rules.

You can also invite family and friends by email to read privately. Members can create invitations. We email the address you enter with your display name, the note title and an invitation link. Recipients can join with a free account after confirming their email. Invitation links last 7 days. The note appears in their list and follows your updates; shared editing is not available yet. You can separately enable saved-video playback for each friend, including videos saved from links. The video stays in your storage and is not copied to their account. They can see your display name, the shared text and source information, but not the full transcript or generation records. You can stop sharing, and friends can leave. Deleting the note or account ends sharing; if the video is cleaned up, the note remains readable. Invitations and public share links are managed separately.

  • Submit unlawful content or content that infringes others’ copyright or privacy;
  • Scrape in bulk, automate abuse, or interfere with the service;
  • Create multiple accounts to collect free minutes, or bypass usage limits;
  • Try to access systems or other people’s data without permission.

6. Free and paid plans

Free accounts get 30 minutes of video in total. They don’t expire and don’t refresh. Paid plans renew monthly through Waffo Pancake and can be cancelled anytime; you keep access until the period ends.

Usage is measured by video length, and failed generations don’t count. Started billing periods aren’t refunded pro rata unless the law requires it. We’ll announce price changes in advance; they don’t affect a period you’ve already paid for.

7. Availability

The service is provided as is. As a personal project we work to keep it running but can’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or remove features. If we decide to shut the service down, we’ll give at least 30 days’ notice so you can export your notes.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Copyright complaints

If you believe content on the service infringes your rights, email support@vidquire.com with proof of your rights and where the content is. We’ll act promptly.

10. Ending your use

You can delete your account from the account page at any time. Your notes and saved videos are deleted with it and can’t be recovered.

11. Changes

When these terms change we update the effective date above. We’ll announce important changes in advance by email or on the site. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
